Accessibility

We want tutors and students to be able to use Tuboard whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we aim for, what we know does not work yet, and how to tell us about a barrier.

What we aim for

This website aims to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA. Every page works with a keyboard, starts with a link that skips to the content, uses headings in order and describes its images in text. Text is checked for contrast against its background.

What does not work yet

The product demos on this site are moving pictures of the app. A screen reader gets a written description of each one instead of the picture, and the play and pause buttons work from the keyboard.

In the app, the whiteboard is a drawing canvas. Drawing, moving shapes and placing a formula depend on a mouse, a pen or touch, and a screen reader cannot read what is drawn on it. Notes, topics and the list of files are text and ordinary controls, but we have not yet tested the whole app with a screen reader.

How we check

We test this website with axe-core, an automated accessibility checker, and by hand with a keyboard. The last check was on 4 November 2026.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site or in the app does not work for you, write to tuboardsocial@gmail.com and tell us what you were trying to do. We read every message and will tell you what we can fix and when.
